Starlight Time and Matt Frederick won the Intermediate Open Derby division sponsored by SC Ranch Co., Inc. at the 2024 Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity’s first Derby, marking a 216.5 in the herd, a 218.5 in the rein work and a 222 down the fence, for a composite score of 657. The duo took home a check for $10,000, a Skyline Silversmiths, LLC trophy buckle sponsored by SC Ranch Co., Inc., a headstall sponsored by Classic Equine, UltraCruz BCAA supplement sponsored by UltraCruz, and Platinum Performance supplement sponsored by Platinum Performance. Starlight Time (2019 stallion, One Time Pepto x Starlight Edition) is owned by Raising Hal Cow Horses, LLC.
